Payment transactions are processed by our third-party payment provider, Paystack.

  • We do not store or process full payment card details on our servers
  • Payment information is handled directly by Paystack in accordance with their security and privacy practices
  • We may receive limited transaction-related information (such as payment status or reference numbers) for accounting and service delivery purposes

Payment Processing
  • Paystack - Processes subscription payments and billing information. Paystack operates as an independent operator in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Authentication & Data Storage
  • Supabase - Provides authentication services (OAuth, OTP) and stores user credentials. Personal information (email, name, authentication tokens) is processed by Supabase.
Email Communications
  • SendGrid and/or Resend - Send transactional emails including notifications, invitations, and account-related communications. We share email addresses and relevant message content with these providers.
Analytics
  • Mixpanel - Tracks usage patterns and product analytics. We share anonymised or pseudonymised usage data to improve the Service.
Other Disclosures

We may also share personal information with:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Professional advisers where necessary
  • Authorities or regulators where required by law

All operators are required to implement appropriate security safeguards and to process personal information only in accordance with our instructions or applicable law.

Personal information may be processed or stored outside South Africa, including by third-party service providers such as Paystack and cloud infrastructure providers.

  • The transfer is otherwise permitted under POPIA, including where necessary for the performance of a contract or where the data subject has provided consent.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.


10. Security Safeguards

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Report the breach to the Information Regulator of South Africa where required by POPIA

Notification will be sent to the email address associated with your account unless the breach prevents us from doing so, in which case we will use alternative means of communication.


12. Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Request correction or updating of personal information
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing
  • Object to the processing of personal information in certain circumstances
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at support@teamtjie.co.za.

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will:

  • Delete your account and personal information within 30 days
  • Retain certain information where required by law (such as transaction records for tax purposes)
  • Anonymise data used for analytics where complete deletion is not feasible

Please note that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all content, teams, and subscription benefits associated with your account.

13. Children's Information

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 18.

14. Foreign Users

We do not actively market or target users outside South Africa.
